If you’re playing with the big guns at a casino, splashing the cash in typical high roller fashion, it only makes sense to drink a beverage of the same name to accompany your gambling. The High Roller Cocktail is sticky and sweet, adding to the sweetness of any big wins you happen to make while gambling! If you want to be able to make your own High Roller Cocktail from home, here’s the recipe…
To make a High Roller Cocktail, you will need…
4oz orange juice
1.5oz of vodka
0.75oz of orange liqueur
3 drops of grenadine syrup
To make the cocktail, you’ll need to begin by crushing some ice and putting this into a cocktail mixer. Then pour in juice, vodka, and liqueur. Shake together for a few minutes until the drink is nice and chilled and then strain it into an old-fashioned glass. Add the three drops of grenadine syrup and then enjoy!

A Vesper Martini is, essentially, a drink made up by James Bond. Upon sharing a drink with Vesper Lynd in ‘Casino Royale,’ Bond says ‘I think I’ll name that a Vesper Martini…because once you’ve had a sip, it’s all you want to drink’. The Vesper Martini is dry and bitter, and not for the faint hearted. If you want to make your own Vesper Martini at home, here’s what you need:
10ml Dry Vermouth
30ml Dry Gin
To make a Vesper Martini…
First, fill a cocktail shaker with some ice- lightly crush this if you want to, but it’s all about personal preference here! Then add the gin, vodka, and vermouth to the shaker and shake it all together vigorously until the drink is nice and cold. Strain the drink into a cocktail glass and then grate some lemon peel over the surface of the drink as a classic garnish. Enjoy straight away!

Al Capone is one of the most notoriously famous gangsters in the world. He was also a keen gambler, so it only makes sense that one of the most villainous cocktails is named after him. It’s definitely a tough drink to handle, but if you think you can take it, here’s the recipe so that you can make your own Capone Cocktail at home.
To make a Capone Cocktail, you will need the following…
A dash of Champagne
A dash of Bitters
3oz of Rye Whiskey
1oz of Grand Marnier
Take the Rye Whiskey, Grand Marnier, and bitters and pour them all into a shaker. Shake them together well before straining the mixture into a martini glass. Add a small splash of champagne to give the cocktail some extra fizz, and then garnish with a little twist of lemon. Enjoy straight away while the drink is still chilled!

Lady Luck is a very sophisticated cocktail that tastes very similar to champagne. Just like champagne, it’s appropriate to drink a Lady Luck cocktail in celebration of something; for example, a big win at the casino. With fruity flavors and a delicate fizz, there’s no denying that Lady Luck is more of a feminine beverage, which makes it ideal for girls nights in as well as on nights out. If you want to make your own Lady Luck cocktail at home, here’s what you need:
0.5 oz of Pear Liqueur
0.5oz of Armagnac
Put some slightly crushed ice into a mixing glass and pour in both the pear liqueur and Armagnac. Stir the drink, don’t shake it, and let it chill. Then strain the drink into a Champagne flute. Add a little champagne to the mixture to top it up and then use a slice of pear as a garnish to bring out the pear flavors within the drink. Serve and enjoy!

The Vegas experience is not just about finding luck on the tables and indulging in the finest cuisine. It’s also about cutting loose and relaxing as much as you can. And the only way to fully relax and unwind Vegas-style is with a cocktail in hand. That said, there are plenty of cocktail bars and drinks to take advantage of, all across Vegas. So, how do you know where to begin?
Well, the best thing to do is to make sure you choose a wonderful bar with a splendid selection of cocktails to choose from. A place you could while away the time sampling several of the fantastic beverages from the menu. This is why you should choose the Wynn as the ideal Vegas hotel and casino for you. Here are some of the places you can find sensational cocktails at Wynn.
Encore Beach Club
If you’re lucky enough to check out and experience the Encore Beach Club, you’re in for a treat. You’ll be able to catch up on some much-needed rest and recuperation, and plenty of cocktails too! There are five main ones to choose from her, including Cucumber Water, Peach and Blue, Melon Berry Smash, and Belvedere Mango Passion. But, we have to confess, our personal favourite has got to be White Strawberry Lemonade. The name alone is enough to make the mouth water, and the combination of SKYY Infusions Wild Strawberry Vodka, with elderflower liqueur, strawberries, and lemonade, makes this a potent concoction. Make sure you are sensible, you could drink five of these without even feeling like you’re drinking any alcohol at all!
Parasol Up Bar
Parasol Up Bar is one-half of the innovative design Wynn has gone with for their hotel and casino. The top half has the wonderful decor, along with bright lights and curtains. This really makes it a vibrant and shining show-piece in the middle of Vegas. Oh, and the drinks aren’t half bad either! There’s the cognac-based Hardy Perfection, and we definitely suggest you try Lake of Dreams as well! Some of the signature drinks you can sample while enjoying the breathtaking views include The Carousel, The Pear-A-Sol, and Lime in the Coconut. You might find cocktails here ever so slightly more expensive than in other establishments. But you’re paying for the view and experience as well as the drinks.
Tower Suite Bar
Another of the great bars at Wynn is the Tower Suite Bar, and it’s a place you simply must check out. The bar specialises in cocktails and has developed a reputation as one of the best cocktail bars in all of Vegas. The Dream lives up to its name, as a delectable amend unforgettable champagne-based cocktail. You should also make sure you check out the $16 Berry Lemonade as well. There is so much to choose from here, and the bar has a wonderful atmosphere; so you’ll be back again and again.

If you’re in Las Vegas, it’s a good bet you’re getting your gamble on, and you could probably do with some refreshments, right?! The great thing about Vegas hotels and casinos is that they have everything you could ever need, so you never need to sort foot outside. So, when you’re looking for the perfect, refreshing beverage to invigorate that gambling brain, you need not look very hard.
The Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino is one of the popular choices for gamblers staying in Vegas. This is due to its wonderful architecture, the brilliant entertainment, and the wonderful selection of food and drinks on offer. Take a look at their cocktail menu and make a choice. There are three main establishments you might want to check out, the All-American Bar & Grill, Voodoo Steakhouse, and iBar Ultra Lounge.
All-American Bar & Grill
Many punters decide to go here and get some food, but you might just decide on a few drinks. Luckily, All-American Bar & Grill is something that offers both in abundance. The food, as you might imagine, is perfect for food lovers, but there is also a wonderful and expansive drinks menu. There are eight signature cocktails to choose from, including Cable Car Martini, Kiss From Mexico, and the classic Manhattan. For a price range of $11-14, you can enjoy delicious and affordable cocktails in this great restaurant.
The upscale VooDoo Steakhouse is the go-to dinner joint for those visiting the Rio in Vegas. But, after dinner, you may wish to head up to the VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub. Here you will find a selection of over 40 speciality drinks to choose from. But, the Love Potion has gotten rave reviews from guests. Our personal recommendation, however, would be the Witch Doctor. This is a deliciously powerful, rum-based cocktail that is certainly not for the faint of heart. The perfect way to cap off a delicious meal and a successful day on the tables! Happy boozing!
iBar Ultra Lounge
Sometimes you want a bar as opposed to a restaurant, and that’s why you may choose to check out the iBar Ultra Lounge. It’s one of the great bars in Vegas and allows you to have a great experience. You can play games, watch TV and make drinks orders from a comfortable booth. There are a lot of drinks on offer to recommend, but, the general consensus is that you should check out the Amaro Kiss and the Nevada Rose. However, our personal favourite has got to be the wonderfully named Pineapple Upside-Down!

If you want to enjoy the perfect Vegas experience, there’s no doubt you’ll be heading to the Bellagio. As one of the premier casinos in the world, there is so much to offer the keen gambler here. And there’s a good bet you’re going to want to have a few drinks while playing Craps or Blackjack. So, here’s a quick look at some of the cocktails that different bars and poolside bars in the Bellagio offers its guests.
The Manhattan – Lily Bar and Lounge
This is the classic cocktail that we’ve all tried at some point. A taste of New York in a glass. The Manhattan is available in Lily Bar as it would be in most Vegas establishments. The difference is that here it’s served in a massive tulip glass, and they use carved ice cubes as well! If you want to get a taste of home, for a reasonable price, The Manhattan is a cocktail you just can’t go wrong with.
Apple Rocks – The Harvest
The Harvest is a relatively new bar opened up in the Bellagio, so why not pay a visit to see what the fuss is about?! We’d recommend The Apple Rocks as a wonderfully refreshing option for all. Wanna know what’s in this bad boy? Get ready to drool! You’ve got Michter’s Rye Whisky mixed with St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur, Vermont maple syrup, and apple cider! And, as if that’s not enough you’ll also get a large ice cube with a frozen Apple chip inside it! This fruity and delicious cocktail is the perfect start to any Vegas evening.
Sangria – Bellagio Pool Bar
There are plenty of poolside bars in Vegas, as you would expect. And, if you’re staying at The Bellagio you probably want to spend a couple hours in the pool before gambling. So, how about a classic Sangria to go with those beautiful sun rays? If you’ve ever been to Spain, you’ll no doubt have sampled Sangria, but never quite like this. See, here you’ll get to enjoy a choice of white or red wine in your sangria. But you’ll also have Hennessy VS cognac, Cointreau, and cinnamon for extra flavoring. If your mouth isn’t already watering then there’s something wrong with you.
1914 Sidecar – Lily Bar and Lounge
Okay, if you’re a high-roller with some pretty mega bucks you might decide to sample the 1914 Sidecar. What is it? Well, it uses the famed Ferrand Cognac Memoire 1914 (hence the name). This is mixed with Grand Marnier Quintessence liqueur and lemon juice. You’ll be served this unique and extraordinary beverage in a sugar rimmed Martini glass, and it will set you back around four hundred bucks! Might be best to save this one until you’ve had some success at the poker table!
