- Rum Cocktails

The Mojito is one of the freshest cocktails your can buy at a bar. Made up of five ingredients to create a unique and smooth blend, there’s no better way to sample a small, zingy taste of the Caribbean than via this particular cocktail. Can’t make it to the casino’s in the Bahamas? Don’t worry- here, we have bought a little bit of the Bahamas over to you. Make these for your friends or simply enjoy by yourself; either way the experience will be divine. Now all you need to do is sip while you play one of your favourite online casino games – we’re thinking roulette, which is as quick and easy as this cocktail.
To make yourself one Mojito cocktail, you will need the following ingredients:
– 65 ml of white rum
– 10 ml (or thereabouts) of soda water
– 2 1/2 teaspoons of granulated sugar
– 1 1/2 limes (these must be cut in to wedges prior to making the cocktail)
– A small amount of ice
– A sprig of mint
For this cocktail you will need a highball glass. Fill this with the lime wedges, the sugar and the mint. Then, using a good spoon or the end of a rolling pin (or something else similar) mash the ingredients up together. This releases the juice of the limes and also the flavours of the mint, creating the base of your cocktail.
Add in a small handful of ice and then pour the rum over the top of this. Following that, add the small amount of soda water- which is added purely for taste, and so is only needed in a very small quantity- and garnish the finished cocktail with your sprig of mint. Serve immediately.
