See, here you’ll get to enjoy a choice of white or red wine in your sangria. But you’ll also have Hennessy VS cognac, Cointreau, and cinnamon for extra flavoring. If your mouth isn’t already watering then there’s something wrong with you.

LAVO is a cocktail bar based at The Palazzo, fusing together a love of cocktails and cards. It is a modern take on the classic casino combined with elements of an upmarket nightclub. Elegant, sophisticated and unique, LAVO is a must-visit when you’re in Vegas.
If the interior and the celebrity guests weren’t enough to dazzle you then why not take a look at the cocktail menu, where the names of the drinks are as good as the beverages themselves.
It starts with the Liquid Silk Martini. Already the name of the cocktail indicates it’s going to be a luxurious one, and you’d be right. Made up of a smooth blend of Vermouth and Absolut Elyx Vodka, garnished with blue cheese stuffed olives, this cocktail is a heavenly combination made for the gods.
If you’re looking for a more tropical kind of vibe, why not try the Desert Bloom or the Prickly Pear-ita? The Desert Bloom is only mildly fruity while the Prickly Pear-ita is rather full on with its citrus elements, mixing pear juice with lime and pineapple juice to create a sensational drink that will leave your taste buds tingling.
If you’re in search of the more classic kind of Vegas experience, there is a handful of cocktails you can choose from to celebrate being in one of the most vibrant cities in the world; The Prenup and Viva Las Vegas (The Desert Bloom also falls into this category if we’re basing it purely on Vegas themed names!). While Viva Las Vegas is sharper to the senses with a spike of vodka and cranberry juice, The Prenup is made of sterner stuff; rum, rhubarb liqueur and basil!
Beginners in a cocktail bar will be able to appreciate some of the classics that LAVO have on offer. The Cucumber Mojito is straightforward and refreshing, a combination of cucumber vodka, prosecco, lime juice and mint. Then there is the Pom Lemonada, which sounds fancier than what it really is; vodka and lemonade with a splash of pomegranate juice. Finally, there’s the Lavolini, which is a glass of prosecco blended with some passion fruit flavours.
If none of these catches your eye, fear not, as the LAVO cocktail menu is a rather extensive one, with over 14 cocktails available, plus a huge number of other alcoholic beverages listed too. You’re sure to find something you enjoy!
